Research biography
Rebecca Wambua specializes in Open, Distance and eLearning and has worked on higher-education capacity development across Africa. Her NSRI submission reports experience as a Commonwealth of Learning consultant and leadership of a World Bank-supported effort building ODeL capacity for South Sudanese tutors. Most notably, she is currently an elected Crossref Board Director for the 2026-2028 term and serves on its Executive Committee, placing her inside the governance ecosystem of global scholarly infrastructure.
