Path 01

For new and developing researchers

AI Research Foundations

Complete AI Research Foundations while conducting your own project. Your final manuscript becomes your qualification submission.
  1. Complete the guided research builds
  2. Conduct and document an original project
  3. Submit the final manuscript for review
  4. Pass the automatic and human quality controls
Finishing the lessons alone does not qualify you. NSRI can approve the manuscript, request revision, or reject work that does not meet the standard.

Path 02

For researchers with substantial completed work

Apply with Prior Research

Submit prior work directly for qualification review. Publication is strong evidence, but a credible completed project can also qualify.
  1. Submit a manuscript or completed research project
  2. Explain your personal contribution and decisions
  3. Provide publication, DOI, portfolio, or supporting link when available
  4. Wait for an NSRI reviewer to approve, revise, or reject the submission
This is not instant admission. NSRI reviews the evidence before Qualified Researcher status or PhD access is granted.
