These Terms of Use govern access to the NSRI website, research group systems, publication submission pathways, chapter tools, competitions, and related student research services.
User Conduct
Users must provide accurate information, respect other participants, avoid harassment or impersonation, and use NSRI systems only for lawful educational, research, editorial, and nonprofit purposes.
Submission Rules
Research submissions must follow authorship, originality, ethics, safety, disclosure, formatting, and citation requirements. NSRI may reject or remove submissions with integrity, safety, or eligibility concerns.
Publication Rights
Authors retain responsibility for the accuracy and originality of their work. By submitting work, authors grant NSRI permission to review, edit, display, archive, index, and distribute accepted materials according to the applicable publication or archive pathway.
No Guarantee of Publication
NSRI does not guarantee publication, awards, admissions advantages, institutional endorsement, external recognition, or research outcomes.
Research Integrity
Plagiarism, fabricated data, undisclosed AI misuse, unsafe methods, unethical human subjects work, false authorship, or misleading affiliation claims may result in rejection, correction, removal, or account restrictions.
Content Ownership and License
Users are responsible for content they submit. Publicly displayed work may be hosted for access, citation, educational use, and archival visibility unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
Acceptable Use and Removal
NSRI may suspend access, remove content, reject applications, or revoke participation when conduct, submissions, or public materials violate these terms, program rules, safety standards, or research integrity expectations.
