Ishita Sharma

Ishita Sharma is the VP of Technology at NSRI, where she serves as the sole technical lead responsible for architecting and building the full-stack web platform from the ground up. Her work spans multi-role authentication systems, researcher and lead researcher portals, research group management, applicant review workflows, weekly log tracking, automated email pipelines, and a real-time admin dashboard supporting thousands of users across 93 countries.

She engineered the core database infrastructure using Supabase, including row-level security policies, database triggers, and schema migrations, and maintains production deployments on Vercel with CI/CD via GitHub. Beyond the platform, Ishita co-hosts NSRI's weekly researcher webinar series, bringing together students and faculty from MIT, Harvard, Georgia Tech, Columbia, and leading research institutions worldwide. Her vision is a platform that removes every technical barrier between a student and their first serious research experience.
