About this project

This research group investigates the short and long-term economic impact of war and geopolitical conflict on global aviation. Using systematic review and data based comparative analysis, the group will examine airspace closures, route diversions, airline revenue loss, and insurance cost spikes with a specific focus on Middle Eastern carriers such as Emirates and Qatar Airways. The research will conclude with forward-looking recovery scenarios and policy recommendations for airlines and governments facing future regional instability.
